Welcome to my blog

My name is Noah Potter.

I started this blog in 2010 with the goal of establishing the field of “psychedelic law.”

If the psychedelic experience is fundamentally distinct from default modes, then there must be legal forethought for integrating psychedelic substances into contemporary societies.

There’s a law for everything so, if psychedelics will be legal, then there must be laws for them. There must be psychedelic law.

In 2012 I deconstructed the DEA’s legal theory for the permanent prohibition of cannabis, The DEA and the legal logic of permanent prohibition, followed by The Meaning of the DEA’s Recent Victory in ASA v. DEA in 2013.

I proposed fundamental principles for a regulated psychedelic markets in early 2018 Psychedelic Markets of the Future.

I offer psychedelic sector non-legal consulting services through Legal Market Strategies.
